SGX board lot changes: GTD orders for affected counters will be cancelled

From 5 October 2026, the standard board lot size for selected SGX-listed securities will be reduced.

• Securities priced above S$10 and up to S$100 will have their board lot reduced from 100 units to 10 units.
• Securities priced above S$100 will have their board lot reduced from 100 units to 1 unit. 

In the initial implementation phase, the following 11 securities will have their standard board lot size reduced from 100 units to 10 units:

Great Eastern Holdings Ltd

Haw Par Corporation Ltd

Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd

Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd

Keppel Ltd

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd

United Overseas Bank Limited

Venture Corporation Limited

Cancellation of long-dated orders:

To facilitate the board lot size changes, all outstanding long-dated orders for the affected securities listed above will be cancelled after SGX market close on 2 October 2026.

Liquidity Program for Income Insurance Shares (from 2 Jun 2026 to 30 Jun 2026 inclusive)

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd (PSPL) is launching the second tranche of the Liquidity Programme for Income Insurance Shares, a bespoke solution to provide shareholders of Income Insurance the opportunity to liquidate their Income Insurance Shares by selling through PSPL.

 

The opening and closing dates for Income Insurance shareholders to register for the program are 2 Jun 2026 (Tuesday) and 30 Jun 2026 (Tuesday), respectively, both dates inclusive.

 

To participate in the program, Income Insurance shareholders would need to:

• Have a trading account with PSPL;
• Be an existing Income Insurance Limited shareholder;
• Complete the custody transfer of their Income Insurance Shares to PSPL;
• Complete and submit their selling order;
• Be residing in Singapore;
• Have an email address to receive correspondence and updates from PSPL; and
• Not be bankrupt.
